Financial Requirements
Accredited Investor
An individual with a net worth, or spouses with a combined net worth, in excess of $1 million exclusive of primary residence – OR – An unmarried individual with income of more than $200,000, or spouses with a joint income of more than $300,000, in each of the past two years and reasonably expect to reach the same income level in the current year.
Qualified Institutional Buyer
An entity, such as an accredited investor, banks, trust funds, or pension plans, that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) classifies as being comprised of sophisticated investors under Rule 501 of Regulation D.
Representative
An individual or entity that represents an oil and gas industry-related entity.
